Alhambran Butterflies 2011 Collaborative paintings with my four year old daughter, folded when still wet, generate these imperfect symmetries. The "butterflies" are scanned at very high resolution, reworked in the digital environment, and show through the intricate geometries of negative spaces inherent in patterns I have cut into blocks and printed.
